Scissor Lifts
Scissor lifts were initially designed to provide larger work space when lifting larger cargo. They are usually used to lift many workers who need access to the same work platform. This type of aerial lift is used for lifting people, supplies and heavy machinery. These industrial machines come in lots of sizes, varieties and colors. Nearly all scissor lifts and hydraulic lifts are powered by either electricity or gas.
Electric models are usually quieter machinery making them most suitable for warehouse uses. Diesel of gas powered scissor lifts are often called rough-terrain lifts which are more suited for jobsites outdoors.
